There has never been a better time to join us! The Role The college’s Film Academy is a well-established and successful department with high levels of attendance and success. Our students benefit from highly skilled staff with practical industry experience who help them to progress into universities, film schools and the film & television industry. We are looking for a driven and committed staff member who can complement the delivery of our Level 2 and Level 3 programmes of study. In addition, you will lead on the planning and delivery of our new BFI backed Saturday Club. You will work under the Film and Music Curriculum Manager in this role to encourage more young people to fulfil their potential and join our exciting industry. The ideal candidate will join an established, successful team to plan, teach and assess Level 2 and Level 3 vocational courses focused on the Film, Television and Media Production industries. You will bring strong interpersonal and practical expertise to the role. What we are looking for You should have a UK Honours degree or UK ENIC recognised degree in a relevant subject and a PGCE or other relevant teaching qualification (or working towards). You should also have practical experience of working in the film, television or media industries and experience of working in an educational environment. You will need to be able to demonstrable experience of working well in a team to achieve agreed targets along with the ability to use and demonstrate current industry standard production and post- production practices to create Film, Television and Media.
