We are seeking to appoint a skilful, dedicated, and enthusiastic part-time lecturer to join our hairdressing and barbering team at Barnfield College in Luton. Whilst teaching experience is an advantage, we welcome applicants who hold a wealth of industry knowledge and skills to pass on to our students.
You will be able to promote, support, and embed English and maths skills in the planning and delivery of all teaching. The ideal candidate will hold a formal Hairdressing qualification to Level 3 and an Assessor Award. Level 2 or 3 Barbering qualifications and experience will be an advantage.
The contract is 14.8 hours per week, which can include evening sessions. A teaching qualification is desirable, although full training to obtain teacher training qualifications will be supported if you are not yet qualified.
