We have an exciting opportunity for a Sessional Accommodation Support Officer to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Brooksby College.
Working Patterns
This Casual Vacancy Requires Out Of Office Hours Working Including Weekends And Bank Holidays On a Flexible Rota Basis As We Are Staffed 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week. Weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday: 07:30 – 23:00 – various shifts Monday to Friday Evenings: 17:00 – 23:00. Must be routinely available to work times listed above as well as flexibility to cover other shifts.
Responsibilities
- To participate in the running of all aspects of accommodation services to ensure full compliance with health and safety, housing and accommodation legislation and wellbeing and security for 181 residents, for students aged 16–18.
- Undertake First Aid at Work training.
- To participate in 24/7 site support cover, emergency call‑outs, sickness and holiday cover to provide service cover at key times.
What we are looking for
- Possess qualifications in Maths and English Levels 4‑9 (GCSE Grades A‑C) or equivalent.
- Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Good level of administration, organisation and IT skills.
- Previous experience of working in a role with children or vulnerable adults.
