We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic, and committed teacher of A Level History and Politics to join Loughborough College Sixth Form. The College is experiencing growth and application numbers for Sixth Form are at an all-time high. We are therefore looking for an exceptional individual to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- You will deliver inspirational and effective teaching and learning that engages learners and enables all learners to achieve successful outcomes in line with their aspirational target grades.
- You will be expected to deliver a blended learning model that includes both in‑person lessons and a weekly online lesson; strong digital skills and a willingness to learn and adapt these methodologies is therefore essential.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching A Level History and Politics to both Year 12 and Year 13 students.
- Experience of delivering the AQA specifications is desirable.
- You will positively contribute to the development of the department, support the creation of enrichment opportunities and commit to raising the aspirations of students, promoting cultural capital, and supporting student engagement.
