We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual nursery support worker to join our team at Radmoor Nursery, based on the Loughborough College. The role will be to deliver high quality learning experiences for all children, ensuring that these are tailored to meet the needs of each individual child. The role will also involve planning a variety of activities and supporting with the delivery of these to engage children, creating a fun, safe, always stimulating caring and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the environment is safe, welcoming and caring at all times.
- Safeguard children, young people and vulnerable adults in accordance with the Local Safeguarding Children’s Board (LSCB) guidance and procedures.
- Support the individual needs of a child, ensuring that activities planned are age‑appropriate and meet the child's next steps.
Qualifications
- Significant experience working within the childcare sector.
- Knowledge of Early Years Development.
- Minimum Level 2 Child Care / Play Work qualification, or willingness to work towards this.
- Ability to work well within a team.
