With a significant growth in our student numbers in recent years, the organisation has made great progress in achieving its ambitious future vision to provide ever more students equipped for their future careers in these all-important disciplines. Our agricultural engineering provision has grown significantly, and with the launch of a Level 3 Apprenticeship programme to complement our Level 2 and 3 Further Education provision, we are now seeking to recruit an Agricultural Engineering Lecturer to join our highly successful team on a permanent basis.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to deliver effective teaching, learning & assessment and support to agricultural engineering students, helping them to maximise their potential and make positive progress towards their timely success, future study and employment. You will be able to inspire and motivate all our students and make a significant contribution to our successful vocational programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment to agricultural engineering students.
  • Inspire and motivate students and contribute to vocational programmes.
  • Support student progress towards success, further study and employment.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 or higher qualification in Agricultural Engineering.
  • Relevant service or maintenance engineering experience.
  • A teaching qualification is preferred; internal training to gain a recognised teaching qualification may be provided for the right candidate.
  • Experience of working with apprentices or students within the workplace is desirable.
  • Professional, hardworking and confident team player with passion for the work.
