Plumpton College seeks a dedicated Learning Resources Coordinator to join our Teaching and Learning Team. Reporting to the Director of Quality, Teaching & Learning, the Coordinator will manage the College Library and Learning Resources to ensure high-quality physical and digital materials for students and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day‑to‑day operation of the Library and Learning Resources, creating a welcoming study space for all students.
- Procure and manage resources, respond to inquiries in line with the Library Service Level Agreement, and maintain an accessible collection that meets curriculum demands.
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Learning Team and academic staff to promote use of IT services and deliver training sessions, ensuring users can efficiently access library resources.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a library or educational resource environment.
- Knowledge of cataloguing systems and solid understanding of digital learning tools.
- Minimum GCSE English and Maths at grade 'C'; strong digital skills, particularly in MS Office.
- A library qualification and experience in further education settings would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills, excellent verbal and written communication, proactive self‑motivation.
