About The Role
You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons that bring learning to life—combining theory with hands‑on experience in our excellent animal management facilities. You’ll guide students to achieve their best, supporting them to gain the skills, confidence and knowledge needed for further study or employment in the sector. Working closely with a dedicated team of animal care professionals, you’ll contribute to curriculum development, share good practice and continuously improve the student experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons in animal studies.
- Support student learning, assessment and progression.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design and pedagogic improvement.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students.
Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Experience in Animal Science, Applied Zoology or a background teaching Secondary Science (open to other specialisms).
- A teaching qualification or willingness to gain one with support.
- Industry experience and up‑to‑date specialist knowledge in animal studies.
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- Genuine passion for helping students succeed.
