As an award‑winning college, we are looking for exceptional staff to join our team. We truly value our support staff who have a key role in supporting and developing our students.

As a Progress Coach, your duties will include providing comprehensive advisory and pastoral support to students and potential students. This will involve providing impartial guidance, delivering a comprehensive programme of group tutorials, pre‑course information and providing and/or arranging subsequent on‑programme non‑academic tutorial support for all students.

In addition, you will also be heavily involved in the safeguarding of students, liaising with external agencies, carrying out reviews, monitoring student progress, setting achievable, meaningful goals and maintaining records.

You should have an NVQ Level 3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent, relevant guidance related experience and a good knowledge of further education and academic progression routes. Excellent presentation skills are essential, as are good IT skills and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You should also possess (or be willing to achieve) Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy e.g. GCSE Maths and English.
