We are looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) Lecturer to join our growing Construction, Building Services & Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and launch of our Level 4 & 5 MMC provision, helping to shape a future-focused curriculum that meets the demands of a rapidly evolving construction industry. Working within our state-of-the-art Clean Energy Centre, you will deliver cutting-edge teaching that integrates digital construction, sustainability, and emerging technologies—preparing learners for high-value careers in the built environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the setup and delivery of our Level 4 & 5 MMC courses
- Teach across Modern Methods of Construction and the T Level in Design, Surveying & Planning
- Embed BIM, off-site construction, retrofit, and sustainable building practices into learning
- Utilise industry-leading facilities in our Clean Energy Centre to deliver hands-on, immersive experiences
- Drive student success, progression, and employability outcomes
- Work with employers to ensure curriculum aligns with real industry need and future skills
- Contribute to recruitment, growth, and the expansion of higher-level provision
What We’re Looking For
- Industry experience in construction / MMC / built environment
- Passion for innovation, sustainability, and developing future talent
- Knowledge of modern construction techniques, digital design (e.g. BIM), or retrofit
- Teaching experience (or willingness to gain a teaching qualification)
- A proactive mindset with the drive to build and grow a flagship curriculum area
