The School of Construction, based at our Hemel Hempstead Campus, is looking for a full-time Plumbing Lecturer who can use their industry knowledge to help our budding plumbers excel within practical and theory environments. This is an exciting opportunity for a plumbing lecturer, or qualified plumber experienced in industry, to develop a career into an established educational setting and share knowledge and skills with the next generation.
Responsibilities
- Teach and assess students across Level 1 and Level 2 full‑time programs.
- Deliver courses for adult part‑time evening students and apprentices on day‑release from employers.
- Collaborate with industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance and student skill development.
- Provide practical training and theoretical instruction in plumbing.
Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience in plumbing.
- Enthusiasm for helping people of all ages and abilities achieve their potential.
- Teaching, assessing and gas‑safe qualifications desirable but not essential; training and the chance to gain qualification whilst working for the College will be provided.
