Join our ambitious Apprenticeships Team at Sandwell College Group as a Learner Engagement Advisor and make a real difference to people’s futures every day. In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you’ll inspire and support learners into apprenticeships, employability programmes and adult skills opportunities, helping them take the next step towards successful careers. Working closely with employers, community partners and internal teams, you’ll play a key role in creating opportunities, building relationships and transforming lives through education and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and enrol learners onto apprenticeship and employability programmes
  • Promote training opportunities through employer, community and outreach activity
  • Match learners to vacancies, apprenticeships and progression opportunities
  • Build relationships with employers and partners to support learner outcomes
  • Advertise vacancies and maintain accurate learner records and KPI reports
  • Support recruitment events, engagement activities and compliance processes

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • A Level 3 qualification in Customer Service, Business Administration or a related subject
  • Level 2 English and Maths
  • Experience in a customer-facing, advisory or learner engagement role
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, employability or engagement activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to meet targets in a fast-paced environment
