Within the range of £46,803 to £53,919 per annum. Starting salary subject to college salary assessment process. 35 hours per week (includes some teaching hours), 52 weeks a year.

We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and ambitious individual to join the management team at Suffolk New College as Head of Digital Futures. The postholder will lead the implementation of the College’s digital strategy, ensuring that digital innovation strengthens teaching, learning and assessment and delivers an exceptional learner experience.

You will provide confident, forward looking leadership, developing staff capability and driving the adoption of high quality digital practice across curriculum areas. You will bring strong people management skills, proven expertise in digital pedagogy, and the ability to embed emerging technologies: including VR, AR and AI enabled tools, into meaningful and impactful curriculum delivery.

The role also necessitates the ability to build sustainable relationships with employers, digital partners and awarding organisations, alongside a creative and future focused approach to digital transformation. The postholder will undertake some teaching hours and must therefore demonstrate effective practice within a relevant digital discipline.

You should hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in a digital field, together with Level 2 maths and English and a Level 5 teaching qualification. This post is based at Suffolk New College, Ipswich. However, Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site therefore you will be required to work at and travel between campuses.
