We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join the Department of Service Industries which has an expanding Travel and Aviation Curriculum area. The successful applicant will have industry experience and will teach across a range of awarding bodies.
Candidate must hold a Level 2 & 3 in crew/aviation qualification and a minimum of 3 years industry experience. Qualified teacher with past experience of teaching in FE, excellent communication skills, and ability to use tracking systems. Must have experience in the travel and tourism industry.
The lecturer will be responsible for supporting positive behaviour and attendance of the cohort, working with other members of the team and NOK, and ensuring the needs of our learners come first. The post holder will deliver high-quality teaching and learning and is expected to develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials to enable all learners to achieve their full potential and take account of educational initiatives.
Campus base: Thurrock, 29.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. As well as a competitive salary, you can expect a range of benefits:
