The Opportunity

We’re looking for an inspiring Associate Lecturer in ESOL to join our talent pool and deliver engaging, high‑quality teaching. This role involves supporting a specified module or modules, including the preparation and delivery of lectures, workshops, and practical sessions. This is a zero‑hours contract with regular working hours to be confirmed at interview.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering scheduled teaching and learning sessions
  • Preparing high‑quality learning materials
  • Designing and marking assessments, alongside moderation duties
  • Contributing to curriculum design and continuous quality improvement
  • Providing student support and supervising independent study
  • Attending programme and team meetings
  • Participating in CPD activities to enhance your practice
  • Supporting student monitoring, reporting, course review and evaluation
  • Taking part in quality assurance processes

Cross‑College Contributions

  • Participating in cross‑college projects, working groups and committees
  • Preparing and presenting papers as needed
