The School of Engineering at our Hemel Hempstead Campus are looking for a full time or part time lecturer who can use their industry knowledge to help our budding Engineering and Motor Vehicle learners excel within practical and theory environments.
Teaching Focus
Our courses are delivered by tutors with extensive knowledge and professional expertise of the industry and work closely with employers to develop students and their own skills. The successful candidate will hold appropriate professional qualifications and have experience in the Motor Vehicle industry to teach across the Level 1 Automotive Engineering and Level 2 / 3 Motor Vehicle programmes. As well as the relevant skills and industry standard qualifications in Motor Vehicle at level 3 or above, we are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for helping people of all ages and abilities to achieve their potential.
Qualifications
Holding a teaching qualification is desirable but not essential as training and the chance to achieve a teaching qualification whilst working for the College will be provided. Assessor and/or IQA qualifications would be advantageous.
