Are you a qualified Carpentry Lecturer or do you have excellent experience in the carpentry industry? If so, this could be the role for you. This is an exciting opportunity for a Carpenter to work in an educational setting, sharing knowledge and skills with the next generation to ensure our students are prepared for the world of work and qualified to industry standards.

The School of Construction at our Hemel Hempstead Campus is looking for full or part time lecturers who can use their industry knowledge to help our budding Carpenters excel within practical and theory environments. The successful candidate may be teaching and assessing young adults across Level 1 and 2 qualifications as well as adult part-time and apprenticeship programmes.

Our Carpentry courses are delivered by tutors with extensive knowledge and professional expertise of the industry and work closely with employers to develop students and their own skills. As well as the relevant skills and industry standard qualifications in carpentry, we are looking for individuals with an enthusiasm for helping people of all ages and abilities to achieve their potential.

Holding a teaching qualification is desirable but not essential as training can be provided. Assessor and/or IQA qualifications would also be advantageous but can be gained as part of your role with us if you do not hold these.
