About The Role
The Health and Social Care Tutor will provide high‑quality teaching and programme management across health and social care qualifications. Curriculum will be current, engaging, and aligned with industry standards. The role requires a proactive, organised, and learner‑focused professional who can maintain strong employer partnerships and uphold the highest standards.
Other Duties Will Include
- Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of Health and Social Care programmes at various levels.
- Ensure the curriculum meets awarding‑body, regulatory, and sector requirements.
- Review and update schemes of work, assessments, resources, and teaching materials.
- Assess learner work, provide constructive feedback, and support learner progression.
- Ensure robust internal quality assurance processes are followed.
- Monitor learner attendance, engagement, progress, and outcomes.
About The Person
- A relevant degree in Health & Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
- A teaching qualification or be willing to work towards.
- Experience of working within the health, social care sector.
- Experience of planning and delivering curriculum or training.
- Experience working with awarding bodies, external verifiers, and regulatory frameworks.
