About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high‑quality, engaging teaching across our Hairdressing provision, from Level 1 to Level 3. You’ll create inspiring learning experiences that develop students’ practical skills, professional behaviours and industry readiness, preparing them for successful careers in the hair and beauty sector.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging, practical and inclusive Hairdressing teaching
- Demonstrate and coach a wide range of industry techniques
- Plan and assess learning, providing high‑quality feedback
- Support students to develop professional standards and workplace behaviours
- Track student progress and implement timely interventions
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
- Support recruitment, enrichment and employer engagement activities
- Create a positive, inclusive and high‑expectation salon learning environment
About You
- Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing (Level 4 desirable)
- Industry experience or teaching experience in Hairdressing
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work toward one)
- Strong knowledge of current hairdressing trends, techniques and industry standards
- The ability to inspire, motivate and engage learners of all abilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using digital tools and technology to support learning
- A commitment to inclusive practice, safeguarding and student wellbeing
