You will work closely with students to support informed decision-making around course and learning options, career pathways, and the development of essential employability skills. Using your professional expertise and guidance techniques, you will encourage individuals to set ambitious goals, build motivation, and achieve positive outcomes at the end of their studies.

The role involves working with a diverse student population and adopting an inclusive, student-centred approach to guidance. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential, as you will be required to build professional relationships with individuals across the college and with external partners. You will be confident in engaging with stakeholders to showcase the wide range of careers, education, and training opportunities available regionally and beyond, supporting students to make well-informed and aspirational choices about their future.
