We are looking for an Associate Governor. If you don’t have the time to commit to a full Governor role at the college, but you have the skills and expertise and would like to contribute to the future of Fircroft, you might be interested in being an Associate Governor.
For this role we are looking for someone who has the following knowledge and experience:
- Experience of leading small/medium capital projects
- Experience of support services such as estates, facilities, catering
- Knowledge of planning and building regulations
- Knowledge of health and safety and incident management
You will be liaising with the Assistant Principal, Business Support and Development, who leads on our estates and sustainability projects and who would value your input. You would not need to attend Governing Body meetings but we would appreciate your occasional presence at our Operations Committee meetings.
