Apprentice Educator and Lecturer for Nursing Associate Standard Close date 03/09/2026 18.5hrs per week Lecturer Scale points 23 – 37: Β£28,273 to Β£42,655 pro-rata, per annum (Starting at point 34: Β£39,055) The Role Working closely with the College, learners and employers, you will support the successful delivery of Nursing Associate apprenticeship programmes, contributing to learner recruitment, retention and achievement in line with College requirements and the standards set by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education. You will guide, support, monitor and assess apprentices and employers throughout the apprenticeship journey, ensuring learners receive a high-quality experience and achieve the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for successful completion. The role also involves contributing to the effective delivery, compliance and continuous improvement of Nursing Associate apprenticeship provision across the College. What We Are Looking For We are seeking a suitably qualified professional with recent, relevant and evidence-based experience within nursing practice. You will have experience of teaching, training or delivering workshops and presentations using engaging and interactive approaches, particularly within workplace or practice-based settings. The successful candidate will have recent experience of supporting learners, colleagues or staff to develop as professional practitioners and will be confident in assessing competence and providing constructive feedback to support development. You will be able to plan and manage your workload effectively, work collaboratively with others and consistently meet deadlines. You will demonstrate a proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learners, using a range of methods to encourage engagement, progression and achievement. Experience of assessing knowledge and skills in the workplace against defined learning outcomes is essential, along with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and handling data effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also important, with the ability to produce clear, accurate reports and develop positive working relationships with apprentices, employers and colleagues.
