About the role

We are recruiting caring, reliable and motivated Support Workers to support adults and young people across Surrey. As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals with a range of needs, which may include learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and complex care needs. You will help service users live as independently as possible while promoting their dignity, choice, wellbeing and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals with daily living activities
  • Assisting with personal care when required
  • Supporting with meal preparation, shopping and household tasks
  • Helping service users attend appointments and community activities
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and life skills
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
