The Opportunity

We’re looking for a senior marketing leader to build and own Thomas’s global marketing and brand strategy — shaping how we show up in the market, how we fuel growth, and how we stand out in an increasingly crowded space. This role operates at Board and SLT level, acting as the voice of the market and the customer. You’ll be responsible for setting a clear marketing vision, translating strategy into execution, and demonstrating measurable impact on revenue, reputation and growth. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Channel and Alliances to ensure marketing consistently delivers qualified demand, actionable insight and a strong point of view. At the same time, you’ll strengthen the Thomas brand globally — increasing awareness, supporting expansion into new regions, and building long‑term trust in our proposition.

This is a role for a commercially minded, confident marketing leader who blends creativity with rigour, and vision with delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the global marketing and brand strategy, ensuring it directly supports Thomas’s ambition, growth plans and commercial priorities.
  • Represent Marketing at Board and SLT level, clearly articulating marketing strategy, investment, ROI and market perception of Thomas.
  • Build a strong, trusted partnership with Sales, Channel and Alliances, ensuring marketing consistently fuels pipeline with high‑quality demand and insight.
  • Bring a clear point of view on how Thomas differentiates — translating our science, AI and CXI proposition into compelling market narratives.
  • Demonstrate clear return on investment, giving the business confidence in how marketing spend is used and the value it creates.
  • Help the organisation deeply understand its markets and customers, providing insight that improves strategic decision‑making.
  • Strengthen our brand and reputation globally, increasing awareness and supporting expansion into new regions and markets.
  • Lead digital marketing transformation, including SEO, marketing automation, analytics and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Own the overall marketing budget, making smart, disciplined investment choices and driving high‑quality outcomes without unnecessary cost.

Thomas Perform is our own Talent Assessment Tool that helps us understand the behaviours, environment, and traits needed to succeed in this role. We’ve created a job profile for this position, and it’ll be used to guide our process — giving us a deeper, more unbiased view of what makes a great fit. You’ll learn more about it as you progress.

Holiday – 25 days per annum, plus the opportunity to purchase up to an extra 5 days per annum through the salary sacrifice holiday buy scheme.

Early Finish Friday - Finish at 15:00 all year round.
