Working within the Student Finance Team, you will be advising students on the financial support available to them and assisting students in making applications for financial support and bursaries. You will work in partnership with other college staff, students, parents, employers and other stakeholders to raise awareness of support funding. You will also undertake administration for applications and payments to relevant parties.

What are we looking for?

  • You should have a minimum level 2 or equivalent qualification in literacy and numeracy.
  • Relevant work experience including significant experience of a customer service background.
  • An understanding of financial support available to FE and HE students.
  • The ability to work in a highly organised, methodical and accurate manner to deal with a demanding workload and achieve deadlines and targets.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexibly (including early mornings, evenings and weekends when required), particularly during peak admissions and enrolment periods.
