About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed English Lecturer to join our cross-college English team. You will deliver high-quality GCSE and Functional Skills English to a diverse range of learners, including 16–18 students, apprentices, and adult learners. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team, where there is a clear focus on raising achievement, removing barriers to learning, and helping every student succeed.

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum Level 3 (or above) qualification in English or a related subject
  • Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent)
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
  • Experience of delivering GCSE and Functional Skills English in an FE setting
