Are you passionate about transforming the lives of young people who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and those with additional needs? An exciting opportunity has arisen in our brand-new Future Focus Centre for a dynamic and experienced lecturer to lead our Future Focus (NEETS) & Supported Internship programmes. Ensuring high-quality, engaging, and impactful learning experiences and delivering outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment that lead to positive progression outcomes.
As a Lecturer in our Future Focus centre, you will teach mainly on our NEET provision 16-18 courses, supporting and guiding individuals who are not engaged in education, employment, or training and assisting them with reintegration into these areas. Your role involves providing personalised educational support, mentoring, and guidance to help NEET individuals acquire the necessary skills, qualifications, and confidence to pursue further education, gainful employment, or vocational training opportunities.
What are we looking for?
- You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will possess a recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to undertake in-service training.
- Previous experience of working with learners with learning difficulties/disabilities is essential.
