About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical installation professional to make a career change and teach the next generation of skilled electricians. You will deliver outstanding teaching and assessment up to Level 3, including study programmes, adult programmes and apprenticeships, in both workshop and classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Level 3 teaching and assessment for electrical installations programmes.
  • Develop creative learning resources and monitor learner progress to promote positive outcomes.
  • Plan and prepare lessons, mark assessments, and set SMART targets for student achievement.
  • Collaborate with curriculum team, technicians, development coordinators and examination staff.
  • Support students to achieve their potential and contribute to the Centre of Excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Vocational qualification at Level 3 or above in electrical installations, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and assessment award (or willingness to obtain).
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, motivation, and ability to work as a team player.
  • Industry experience and commitment to developing curriculum are highly desirable.
