The predicted salary is between 23 - 23 € per hour.

Part Time £23.26 per hour plus £5.54 per hour holiday pay gross. Variable hours – fixed term contract until 31 July 2027.

The Role

As a part‑time hourly paid lecturer you will assist in fostering a rich learning environment by teaching clearly structured lessons or sequences of work via courses delivered on a range of days and at different venues throughout the year. You will be committed to excellence, offering the very highest standards in teaching. You will also be expected to contribute towards course marketing.

What we are looking for

  • UK Honours degree or UK ENIC recognised degree in a related field and a recognised teaching qualification (or to achieve within 2 years of appointment).
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in numeracy and literacy.
  • Industry experience in animal care or related sectors.
  • Experience of teaching at Levels 2 and/or 3 and experience of working with or teaching young people in a further education environment.
  • Familiarity with awarding body requirements and quality assurance processes.
