As we continue to invest in our facilities, expertise and apprenticeship provision, we are looking for a motivated Skills Development Coach to join our Engineering team based at the Furthergate Business Park, Harwood Street, Blackburn.
About the Role
As a Skills Development Coach, you will manage a caseload of Engineering Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey, from onboarding through to End Point Assessment (EPA). You will provide expert guidance, coaching, assessment and support, helping apprentices develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to succeed in their careers while building strong relationships with employers across the region. This is a rewarding opportunity for an engineering professional who is passionate about mentoring others and making a real difference to learners' futures.
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking someone who combines industry expertise with a commitment to learner success. You will need to have:
- Level 2 Qualification in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT
- Level 3 Engineering Qualification in a relevant subject area
- Knowledge of theory and practical skills in engineering equipment, machinery and materials
- Strong communication, planning and organisational skills
- The ability to motivate, support and inspire learners from diverse backgrounds
- A learner-focused approach with a commitment to delivering an exceptional apprenticeship experience
