The Financial Reporting Team at Blackburn College plays an important role in the financial management of the college, providing a true Business Partnering service to the Budget-holders across the college. As Finance Officer, you will support the Financial Reporting Manager and Finance Business partners in that important role. You will develop your skills under the supervision of the team.
What we are looking for:
- Applicants who are qualified to AAT Level 4 (or are currently working towards) or are educated to at least NVQ Level 4 or have equivalent experience within a finance discipline.
- An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word.
- Experience of working in a finance environment.
- A good understanding and experience of double entry bookkeeping.
- Experience of completing reconciliations.
