We are looking to appoint to the role of Curriculum Manager Adult GCSE and FS based in the School of Adult Education. As a member of the school management team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the successful planning, implementation, and delivery of all aspects of the curriculum. This position involves extensive knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and will require subject specialism to ensure the successful implementation of quality assurance and standards.
The role will include operational management of staff and students to achieve the curriculum, school and college key performance indicators. You will provide academic planning and operational support at curriculum level and have specific responsibility for developing and overseeing student progress and achievement practice, including supporting the Head of School: Adult Education in staffing, timetabling, curriculum planning and sequencing, alongside quality assurance practices within the college's Quality Cycle.
As part of this post, you will be required to deliver 331 teaching hours per annum.
What we are looking for:
- You must be qualified to degree level or have a relevant professional qualification at level 4 or above as well as a recognised teaching qualification at Level 4 or above.
- You must have up to date knowledge and experience of the Adult GCSE and Functional Skills curriculum area. This must include understanding of curriculum structures, sequencing and quality assurance processes.
- Successful experience of managing people is desirable.
