We’re looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and creative Head Chef to join our small, independent world tapas restaurant and become a key part of our close-knit team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef who wants the freedom to put their own stamp on a menu, develop their own style and create something genuinely unique .
Working closely with the owner, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and adapt exciting menus inspired by flavours and dishes from around the world, while bringing your own creativity and personality to the food.
We’re looking for someone who takes real pride in beautifully presented, high-quality dishes and enjoys pushing boundaries while keeping the food approachable and enjoyable.
- The ideal candidate
- Has previous Head Chef or senior chef experience – this is essential.
- Is genuinely passionate about food and excited by creativity and innovation.
- Has a strong eye for detail, presentation and quality.
- Is confident creating, developing and adapting unique menus.
- Is open-minded and willing to experiment with different flavours, cuisines and ideas.
- Takes pride in their work and has a proven track record of producing excellent food.
- Can provide good professional references and evidence/examples of the quality of their work .
- Is approachable, positive and easy to get along with.
- Enjoys working as part of a small, supportive and close-knit team.
- Is comfortable working closely with the owner and contributing ideas to shape the restaurant’s food offering.
