Private Chef & Household Manager - South East London

Salary: £50,000–£55,000 GPA

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

Role Overview

A friendly family with two children (6 and 8) are looking for a capable and warm Private Chef & Household Manager to help keep their home running smoothly. The role combines daily cooking with light household management, simple admin support, and occasional childcare. The family also have dogs, so you should be comfortable including pet care in your routine.

Core hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility arranged in advance. Additional paid babysitting is available.

Key Responsibilities

• Cooking & Kitchen Duties
• Prepare fresh, healthy meals for the family
• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and well organised
• Handle food shopping and basic meal planning
• Household Management
• Oversee contractors, deliveries and household supplies
• Light housekeeping and general organisation
• Run simple errands and assist with basic admin
• Family Support
• Share school runs and take the children to after-school clubs
• Provide occasional childcare after school and during holidays
• Dog Care
• Support with feeding, routine care and occasional walks

Travel

• Up to 3 weeks per year travelling with the family to Ibiza to cook and provide support
• No other travel required; during school holidays the family spend 9–10 weeks abroad, leaving significant downtime

• Confident cook who enjoys preparing healthy, family-style meals
• Organised, proactive and comfortable managing household routines
• Friendly, child-aware and confident around dogs
• Strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
• Competent driver with a full UK licence
