As our Chef, you’ll primarily be responsible for:

  • Preparing and plating all dishes to a consistent, high-standard.
  • Enforcing strict health and hygiene standards in our newly refurbished, state of the art kitchen.
  • Keeping on top of current food trends, utilising your knowledge to assist management in developing new menu items.

Although our business is going from strength to strength, we’re essentially a start-up business. Therefore it’s important that you’re an ambitious, hard-working individual who’s willing to get stuck in and get their hands dirty. This is an incredible opportunity for someone to grow within a business, have their input valued and become part of a forward-thinking brand that truly values and rewards hard work.

Our opening hours are currently 8.30am-4pm. You’ll be expected to work additional hours when necessary. Also, we have huge plans for the brand over the next couple of years and will be extending our hours to provide a dinner service later this year. Therefore, we’d ideally like to hire someone who’s available during the evenings, however this isn’t a necessity.

There are excellent transport links close by (we’re a 5 minute walk from Upminster station) and there’s parking available. You’ll be entitled to one staff meal daily, and the salary offered will depend on your level of experience.
