As a Brunch Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, creating a variety of high-quality brunch dishes and sandwiches. Our menu focuses on classic favorites, including eggs, fresh salads, sandwiches, toasties, granola, and pancakes — all made using seasonal, quality ingredients. This role suits someone who enjoys working independently while collaborating closely with the Head Chef to support daily kitchen operations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Cooking and preparing a diverse range of items for our brunch menu, delivering consistently high-quality dishes.
  • Working independently while supporting the wider kitchen team as needed.
  • Assisting with menu execution and daily kitchen organization.
  • Managing stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste.
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness.
  • Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all dishes served during brunch hours.
  • Maintaining an organized, efficient, and clean workspace.
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients.
  • Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a good-quality establishment using fresh produce.
  • Solid understanding of stock control and ordering processes.
  • Good knowledge of kitchen health and safety and food hygiene standards.
  • A genuine passion for food quality and presentation.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to perform well under pressure.
  • Passion for creating exceptional brunch dishes and sandwiches.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

What We Offer:

  • Full-time position: 5 shifts per week, 35–40 hours per week.
  • Two days off per week.
  • 20-minute daily break.
  • Free Barista-made drinks (Exclusions apply).
