About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced
Breakfast Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade of a prestigious luxury hotel set within beautiful countryside grounds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef who enjoys delivering exceptional breakfast service in a high-quality hospitality environment.
Please note
Due to the hotel's rural location, there is no practical public transport available . Applicants must have their own car and a valid driving licence to commute to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead your section during breakfast service to ensure exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction.
- Prepare, cook and present breakfast dishes to consistently high standards.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Ensure your section remains clean, organised and fully prepared for service.
- Assist with stock control, stock rotation and ordering.
- Support cost control and minimise food waste.
- Train, mentor and support Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in line with recipes and quality specifications.
- Suggest new menu ideas and seasonal breakfast specials.
- Work closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
- Follow all health & safety, food safety and company procedures.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a quality hotel or restaurant.
- Excellent breakfast cooking skills.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Passion for high-quality food and hospitality.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
Own vehicle and driving licence essential due to the remote location.
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Professional Cookery (or equivalent).
- COSHH awareness.
- First Aid qualification.
- Experience within luxury hotel or fine dining kitchens.
