We're looking for a chef de partie/junior sous chef to come work alongside our two senior chefs in our busy country pub kitchen. Can you help develop a changing seasonal menu? Be adept at covering all areas from pastry to pass? This is an excellent opportunity to further improve your skills with the potential to move up to a more senior role.
£28,000 - £33,000 depending on hours & experience + over £7k in gratuities. Up to 40 hours per week available, flexible split shifts including weekends (10am-3pm, 6pm-10.30pm, Sunday 10am-5pm). Own transport and living within an easily commutable distance essential.
The Pepperbox Inn is a busy country pub & restaurant set in a beautiful location just outside of Maidstone, we have a well established reputation for good food and excellent service, which you can see from our reviews. We prepare almost everything in house, serving both restaurant and classic pub food, we are well known for our varied menu and our focus on fresh fish. All members of the kitchen have input into the menus which change seasonally.
We are looking for someone with a passion for cooking and great organisational skills who copes well with a fast paced service!
