Overall aim of the job: Our beautiful hotel (West Court Retreat) that opened in April 2025 is looking for a Chef de Partie, they are responsible for managing a specific section within the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standard, in line with the hotel's menu, quality, and hygiene standards.
This position requires a strong culinary skill set, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
The Chef de Partie will work closely with the Sous Chef to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen and the satisfaction of guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food to the highest standards.
- Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring efficient operation.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff to ensure their development.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef to plan menus and ensure consistency.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.

The role is full time, permanent (3 month probation) working 40 hours per week on a shift pattern. We are offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
