We are looking for a Cook who brings warmth, creativity and heart into the kitchen — someone who loves feeding little tummies and being part of a team that feels like a family. If you enjoy preparing fresh, wholesome meals and creating a sense of home through food, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare delicious morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea each day
  • Follow our OAC Nutrition Guide to create balanced, child-friendly meals
  • Cater thoughtfully for allergies, dietary needs and individual variations
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly
  • Manage stock, storage and food rotation
  • Bring a friendly, caring presence to the heart of the campus

Qualifications

  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Cookery/Hospitality (preferred)
  • Experience in Early Childhood or Aged Care (preferred)
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Strong understanding of allergy management
  • Full-time availability and a warm, community-minded approach

All employees are required to hold a current Employee Working with Children Check before beginning employment.
