We act as the bridge between hospitality employers and referral partners, helping individuals facing homelessness, prison leavers, and other disadvantaged groups access sustainable employment.
As we continue to expand our impact across the UK, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Employer Relationship Manager to lead and grow our employer partnerships across the North West.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong hospitality background and proven Relationship Management experience to play a key role in delivering meaningful social change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1) Develop and manage strategic employer partnerships
- Build, strengthen and maintain relationships with hospitality employers across the North and wider UK, acting as a senior ambassador for Only A Pavement Away.
- Take ownership of a portfolio of key employer accounts, ensuring high levels of engagement, retention and satisfaction.
- Identify and secure new employer partnerships, supporting the charity's growth objectives and increasing employment opportunities for our candidates.
- Lead employer meetings, presentations and partnership reviews, both virtually and in person.
- Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, HR teams, operations leaders and hospitality executives to maximise partnership outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for employer-related matters and proactively resolve challenges.
- Ensure all employer activity is accurately recorded and managed through Salesforce CRM.
- 2) Drive candidate placement and employment outcomes
- Maintain a detailed understanding of vacancies and recruitment requirements across employer partners.
- Oversee the submission and management of candidate applications, ensuring quality matching between candidates and opportunities.
- Monitor recruitment pipelines, interview activity and hiring outcomes, proactively engaging employers to maximise successful placements.
- Analyse performance data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and increased employment outcomes.
- Produce detailed reports and insights for internal stakeholders, highlighting performance against targets and partnership activity.
- 3) Lead employer engagement events and regional initiatives
- Take ownership of employer participation across recruitment fairs, prison workshops, employability sessions, hospitality showcases and other engagement activities.
- Develop and deliver presentations that effectively communicate the charity's mission, impact and partnership opportunities.
- Work alongside colleagues to coordinate logistics, planning and delivery of regional events.
- Represent Only A Pavement Away at industry networking events, conferences and partner meetings.
- Build and maintain a strong regional presence within the hospitality sector to enhance brand awareness and employer engagement.
- 4) Contribute to organisational growth and impact
- Support the development and implementation of employer engagement strategies.
- Identify emerging trends, opportunities and challenges within the hospitality sector.
- Share market intelligence and employer feedback to support continuous improvement across the charity.
- Collaborate closely with referral partners and internal teams to ensure a seamless candidate journey.
- Act as a role model within the team, demonstrating professionalism, accountability and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
We are looking for someone who
- Has significant experience in hospitality
- Has a proven track record of building and managing long-term stakeholder relationships at multiple levels of an organisation.
- Is confident engaging with senior leaders and decision-makers and can influence effectively.
- Has experience managing employer accounts, partnerships or client relationships with measurable outcomes.
- Is an excellent communicator with strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Is comfortable speaking to groups, facilitating workshops and representing an organisation externally.
- Thrives in a hybrid environment and is willing to travel regularly across the region to meet partners and attend events.
- Is highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Has strong analytical skills and is comfortable using CRM systems and reporting tools, ideally Salesforce.
- Has excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Demonstrates a genuine commitment to social impact, inclusion and supporting individuals facing barriers to employment.
- Experience working within the hospitality sector at management level
- Experience in recruitment, employer engagement, account management or business development
- Experience working in the charity, employability, justice, social impact or recruitment sectors
- Existing network of hospitality contacts across the North West
