We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused New Business Account Manager to develop and manage a portfolio of predominately new brokers. Promoting the OnlineDIRECT vision, you will be driving broker performance and ensuring outstanding service delivery.

Responsibilities
- Manage a targeted portfolio of new brokers, driving revenue growth through performance management, coaching and strategic guidance.
- Deliver a structured onboarding experience that equips brokers with the tools to succeed.
- Ensure service standards are met in line with internal SLAs.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities and implement sales strategies to enhance broker productivity and close rates.
- Review sales pipeline, analyse trends and assess performance to maintain strong portfolio health.
- Handle bespoke and SME energy tenders, supporting brokers with the sales process, contract negotiations and close.
- Promote suitable suppliers, products and wider OnlineDIRECT services to unlock new revenue opportunities.
- Recognise brokers who may lack resources to succeed independently and work with internal teams to propose alternative partnership solutions.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the wholesale energy market, sharing market intelligence and insights to empower brokers.
- Seek opportunities for professional development, ensuring you have the tools to effectively support and guide brokers.
- Champion OnlineDIRECT's values and encourage partnership-led behaviours across all broker interactions.
Requirements
- Experience in the utilities or energy brokerage sector highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence, educate and build lasting relationships.
- Proven account management experience with track record of working to and achieving sales targets.
- Highly organised, resilient and capable of managing workloads, deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and maximise opportunities.
- Results driven, with a focus on achieving targets, maximising opportunities and striving for positive outcomes.
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Competent in CRM systems and confident using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
