The Role

  • The successful candidate will support the Transactions Manager with the day‑to‑day running of both the Accounts Receivable & Payable functions, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.
  • Record and allocate payments and receipts across all accounts.
  • Register supplier invoices received into company mailbox/by post.
  • Complete stock purchase orders and subsequent invoice postings.
  • Investigate and resolve any queries relating to both supplier and customer accounts.
  • Perform a regular review of both the aged debtor and aged creditor ledgers and add commentary in preparation for weekly update with the Transactions Manager and bi‑weekly update with the Financial Controller.
  • Ensure accurate setup of accounts on Sage for both new suppliers and customers.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders with regards to queries and approvals.
  • Perform any other office duties as requested by the Transactions Manager.

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
