I'm looking for an Associate Child Psychotherapist/Counsellor to join my practice in Wakefield, working with children who have experienced trauma. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified therapist who wants to develop specialist skills in cybertrauma and technology-related harm. (Location Wakefield, West Yorkshire – In-person only)

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing trauma-informed therapy to children and young people
  • Working within an attachment-based, relationally focused framework
  • Developing expertise in cybertrauma and online harms
  • Contributing to a growing, innovative practice.

What I'm looking for:

  • Qualified Child Psychotherapist or Counsellor
  • Training and experience working with children
  • Training and experience working with trauma
  • Based in or willing to commute to Wakefield, West Yorkshire
  • Interest in developing skills in cybertrauma and technology-related harm
  • Knowledge of attachment theory and child development
  • Experience with children and complex trauma
