Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Mailroom Operator to join our London office (WC2A 1HR) on a temporary, casual basis (“self-employed contractor”). The role involves collecting, sorting, and scanning company and client correspondence across 2 afternoons per week (12 pm–3 pm) at £14.5/hour. Ideal for students or those seeking flexible part-time work.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort and organise all company and clients' letters received daily; liaising with clients via telephone and email as required.
- Scan, print, mail and shred confidential documents.
- Log and record accurately all mail/post transactions onto the appropriate spreadsheets.
- Organise document management, including opening files, archiving and ensuring that all relevant documents are filed electronically and paper-based, as required.
- Perform post office runs to send clients' documents and/or book deliveries.
Who You Are
- Available to work two afternoons per week, from 12 pm to 3 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Be highly organised and passionate about keeping things tidy.
- Have high attention to detail.
- Be able to work with confidential documents.
- Be computer literate and have good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
- Exhibit a highly reliable and responsible attitude.
- Be an excellent communicator at all levels and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Fluent in English.
