You will be joining OES at an exciting time with significant opportunities for professional growth, creativity, and impact. This position is a hybrid role based in OES’ Birmingham office (2-3 days per week).

The Student Recruitment Advisor is predominately a telephone-based sales role responsible for efficiently managing all leads through the student recruitment funnel, from initial enquiry to enrolment. Responsibilities include:

  • Meeting and exceeding the business's long and short-term enrolment (sales) targets.
  • Providing and delivering accurate course information to prospective students through outstanding verbal and written communication.
  • Following up with leads to meet enrolment conversion targets.
  • Enabling recruitment and guidance procedures to be carried out in line with best practice guidelines and admission policies concerning safeguarding, equality, and diversity.
  • Supporting and managing applicants during the online admissions process.
  • Accurately assessing applicants' eligibility and escalating complex applications to a subject specialist or university admissions team as appropriate.
  • Maintaining students’ records in Salesforce CRM to reflect engagement history.
  • Preparing sales reports to reflect sales performance and lead and opportunity pipeline status accurately.
  • Working closely with Marketing colleagues to promote opportunities and evaluate the success of this activity.
  • Promoting and fostering good links with university partners, agencies, and other referral sources to increase applications in line with recruitment targets.
  • Coordinating and leading activities which form part of the admissions process, such as recruitment events and course demos.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the department's continuous improvement plan.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within a fast-paced sales environment with demonstrated achievement of sales KPIs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with diverse people.
  • Motivated and passionate about sales with a keen interest in the benefits of higher education.
  • Strong commitment to personal excellence, self-discipline, and resourcefulness with excellent attention to detail.
  • Competitive with a team focus and resilient nature.
  • Ability to work in an environment of change, contributing and adapting to new ways of working.
  • Outstanding time management skills and experience in coordinating multiple administrative tasks.

Base salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (Dependant on experience). Competitive salary package including base pay and commission.
