Role Purpose
The Supply & Demand Planner is the owner of the end-to-end demand and supply planning process for Onitsuka Tiger Europe. The role ensures the right product is available, at the right quantity, in the right location, at the right time—while balancing commercial objectives, inventory health, capacity constraints, and global strategy. Acting as the central point of contact for demand and supply planning, this role translates commercial demand into executable supply plans and supports decision-making across functions through accurate forecasting, scenario planning, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Demand Planning
- Own and continuously improve the regional demand forecasting process across all product categories.
- Develop rolling demand forecasts (short-, mid-, and long-term) aligned with sales targets, merchandising plans, and marketing initiatives.
- Analyze historical sales, seasonality, promotions, product lifecycle, and market trends to identify forecast drivers and risks.
- Facilitate cross-functional demand reviews with Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, and Finance.
- Manage the demand planning calendar and ensure timely submission of forecasts to Global HQ.
- Supply Planning & Inventory Management
- Translate the approved demand plan into a feasible and optimized supply plan, considering lead times, MOQ, capacity, and factory constraints.
- Monitor inventory levels by channel, region, and SKU to ensure availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Proactively identify supply gaps, overstock risks, and allocation issues; propose mitigation actions.
- Support allocation and replenishment decisions in collaboration with logistics and distribution teams.
- Track inbound supply performance and adjust plans based on changes in demand or supply constraints.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as the primary planning interface between Europe and Global HQ.
- Prepare and present planning insights, risks, and recommendations to management.
- Partner closely with Finance to align forecasts with budget, OTB, and financial targets.
- Support Merchandising and Sales with data-driven insights for assortment, launch timing, and volume decisions.
- Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, service level, inventory turn, and other relevant KPIs.
- Identify root causes of forecast variance and implement corrective actions.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and best practices in planning.
- Contribute to system enhancements and data quality improvements across planning tools.
- Systems & Reporting
- Maintain and develop planning reports and dashboards using SAP/FMS, Qlik Sense, Excel, and related tools.
- Ensure data integrity across planning systems and master data inputs.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and management reporting as required.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to supply chain, operations, or business growth.
- Actively contribute to a collaborative, agile, and solution-oriented team culture.

Profile & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or a similar supply chain role
- Experience within fashion, retail, footwear, or consumer goods is a strong advantage
- Strong knowledge of demand forecasting and supply planning principles
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, scenario analysis)
- Experience with SAP/FMS or similar ERP systems
- Knowledge of A3, Informatica, Qlik Sense, APL Logistics is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, hands-on, and solution-driven mindset
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
