Urgently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small finance team within a growing manufacturing business. This opportunity is due to retirement, so we are in a fortunate position to have up to 5 months handover.
Primary responsibilities will be all things Purchase Ledger, however, you will support the wider finance function as needed. A snapshot of duties include:
- Processing of all purchase invoices for both UK and Dutch companies
- Payment run preparations and supplier reconciliations
- Bank entries and reconciliations for UK and Dutch bank accounts
- Expenses and credit card processing
- Ensuring good internal controls with respect to the PL function
- Oversee and manage petty cash
In addition to strong purchase ledger and ‘all round’ accounts experience, the successful candidate will have a ‘can do’ and positive attitude. Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Business Central would be ideal. Confidence in Excel is essential. Due to the office location a driving license is essential.
