Our client is in the construction industry (Grade A1 Contractor/ Class 1 General Builder) and they provide a full suite of integrated construction services and solutions in both the public and private sectors.
JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)
- Lead and manage a team of Design/Coordination Engineers in coordinating design drawings with consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities.
- Review and provide solutions to technical problems as well as planning, monitoring and reporting work progress for building and civil projects.
- Provide guidance in preparing technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings.
- Lead the team in resolving construction issues on drawings and liaising closely with Architectural and M&E teams and the authorities.
REQUIREMENT
- Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with a minimum of 7 years' relevant working experience with contractors.
- Preferably a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
- Be conversant in Eurocode.
- Be independent, analytical, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates with 'Design for Safety for Professionals' certification will be an added advantage.
