Your Role at ONI

  • Assemble super resolution microscopes in accordance with work instructions and defined protocols.
  • Assemble, calibrate, and quality control opto-mechanical and electronic subcomponents.
  • Assemble, calibrate and quality control laser components.
  • Carry out optical alignment of lasers, mirrors, and lenses, and quality control and testing.
  • Carry out alignment and quality control of systems-level product.
  • Quality control components and materials from vendors to ensure tolerances are met for FIQA process.
  • Review and follow technical documentation during assembly and alignment i.e. drawings, work instructions, SOPs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the workspace and cleanroom to ensure adherence to particulate and dust control standards.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficient in assembling intricate systems using high-precision subcomponents.
  • Adherence to precise work instructions for the assembly and alignment of components and systems.
  • Proficiency in utilizing workshop tools and hand tools for machining and assembly tasks.
  • Skilled in the handling and maintenance of laser-grade optical components.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, including engineering drawings, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience assembling devices within a cleanroom environment.
  • Experience as part of a manufacturing team.
  • Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
