Your Role at ONI
- Assemble super resolution microscopes in accordance with work instructions and defined protocols.
- Assemble, calibrate, and quality control opto-mechanical and electronic subcomponents.
- Assemble, calibrate and quality control laser components.
- Carry out optical alignment of lasers, mirrors, and lenses, and quality control and testing.
- Carry out alignment and quality control of systems-level product.
- Quality control components and materials from vendors to ensure tolerances are met for FIQA process.
- Review and follow technical documentation during assembly and alignment i.e. drawings, work instructions, SOPs.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the workspace and cleanroom to ensure adherence to particulate and dust control standards.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient in assembling intricate systems using high-precision subcomponents.
- Adherence to precise work instructions for the assembly and alignment of components and systems.
- Proficiency in utilizing workshop tools and hand tools for machining and assembly tasks.
- Skilled in the handling and maintenance of laser-grade optical components.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, including engineering drawings, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Experience assembling devices within a cleanroom environment.
- Experience as part of a manufacturing team.
- Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
